Vincent Lostetter is working with a CTE pathway in Vista HS. A few years ago, as a part of his ROTC program, preparing students for the air force, he came upon a crashed airplane and decided it would be a great way to give students a hands on experience learning about aviation.

Listen to this adventure in giving students voice, the opportunity to co-create experiential learning, the social construction of deeper learning that came from bringing in mechanics, physicists, and other experts, and the incredible amount of self-discovery as they celebrated what they did with wonderment and awe!
