Kids Can Make a Difference (KIDS) is a program of iEARN (International Education and Resource Network), a non-profit global network made up of over 30,000 schools and youth organizations in more than 140 countries.
KIDS is an educational program for middle- and high school students that focuses on opening the eyes of students about the reality of hunger and poverty. It discusses the root causes, the people affected, solutions and how students can help.
The program aims to empower students to collaborate with their teachers and stimulate them to take action as they begin to realize that no matter who and how young they are, they can make a difference in alleviating hunger and poverty.
The KIDS program is passionate about helping students get through the busy exterior that surrounds them in life and learn, when they are young enough to remember it, that hunger and poverty is real, even when they are not visible everyday… and they can do something about it.
